There are three things to be assessed in evaluating patient judgment which are Social Judgment, Test Judgment and Personal Judgment
Social judgment is to look for patient’s understanding on manifestation of behavior that is harmful to the patient & Surroundings and contrary to acceptable behavior in culture. It is gain via knowledge or through mixing with community
Test Judgment is to access patient prediction of what he or she would do in imaginary situations. For example; what he/she will do if found a stamped, addressed later on the street
Personal judgment is to access patient’s future plan after discharge.
In this case, even though seeing prostitute is not an acceptable behavior based on his race as a Malay which normally associates with Islamic religion but patient aware of the dangerous of seeing prostitute in term of consequences and try to prevent it. Furthermore, patient is not truly practicing the religion that he submits to. Hence, it’s explained about his attitude.
