4)B is an osmotic diuresis.it should not be used as a resuscitation fluid especially in the presence of hypovolumic shock as it will worsen the shock and endanger the patient.


5)Contraindication for Hartmann solution
-Diabetic ketoacidosis (Hartman contains lactate which will worsen the acidosis)
-Gastric outlet obstruction (In Gastric outlet obstruction, there will be metabolic alkalosis due to severe vomiting. Lactate will be converted into bicarbonate ion and worsens the alkalosis.
