a) Shake the inhaler for 3-4 times
b) Remove the cap
c) Sit upright with head slightly tilt back (extension)
d) Do breathing exercise away from inhaler (breath in and out for 3 times)
e) Put the inhaler in your mouth, in between your teeth and close your mouth around it. The top of the medication tank should face upward.
f) Breath in slowly and press the top of the medication tank once. Continue breathing until you have taken full breath
g) Remove the inhaler from your mouth, hold your breath for about 10 seconds and then breathe out
h) If you need a second puff, wait 30 seconds, shake your inhaler again, and repeat steps above. If symptoms not relieve after three to four puff, you need to go to the hospital.
